- Pairpoint Glass (Sagamore, MA): beautiful glass objects, including vases, bowls, perfume bottles, figurines, and friendship balls. Handmade on Cape Cod since 1837.
- Pewabic Pottery (Detroit, MI): established in 1903, this historic working pottery makes architectural tiles, framed art tiles, address tiles, and assorted pottery (cups, mugs, plates and vases) plus Detroit-themed items.
- Rachiele (Apopka, FL): custom copper sinks, hoods and countertops, made in USA. Beautiful.
- Replogle Globes (Hillside, IL): world globes in many styles, still made in USA in a fascinating blend of artistry, craftmanship and geography. As the company CEO pointed out to me, globes imported from China can be caught up in the propaganda of how national boundaries are depicted. Another reason to buy an American-made globe that includes up-to-date and accurate information. Lots of gorgeous styles to adorn any home.

- Steuben Glass (Corning, NY): in November 2011, this manufacturer of high-end art glass, from executive gifts to vases, bowls, and stemware, closed its lone factory. A few designs are once again in production, courtesy of the Corning Museum of Glass.
- Wendell August Forge (Grove City, PA): jewelry, home accents, and holiday ornaments--hand forged in polished aluminum, bronze and pewter since 1923 (a few items on their website imported)
- West by Southwest Decor: a wide range of home decor in western and southwestern themes
- Wrought Iron Haven (Highland, IN): an amazing collection of American-made wrought iron decor, hardware, and furniture
- Adirondack FireStone Co. (Syracuse, NY): a reusable firelighter that absorbs lamp oil in the accompanying ceramic vessel, and when lit burns long enough to light a wood fire without using newspaper or other tinder. Less ashes! A great idea.
- England's Stove Works (Monroe, VA): pellet stoves, gas, multifuel and wood stoves. Available from Lowe's, Home Depot and many other hardware stores; use the online locator to find a dealer.
- Grate Wall of Fire (Litchfield, CT): steel fireplace grates designed to hold logs in a vertical burning chamber to provide hotter, cleaner burning. Cast-iron decorative elements, fire backs, and outdoor firepots also available.
- Hearth & Home Technologies (Lakeville, MN): gas, wood and pellet stoves and fireplace inserts under a number of brands, including Harman, Vermont Castings, and Heatilator.

- Piedmont Craftsmen (Winston-Salem, NC): a guild of over 400 craft artists, working in glass, fiber, metal, clay, leather...you name it!
- Southwest Indian Foundation (Gallup, NM): pottery, jewelry, and crafts of all kinds, handcrafted by members of the Navajo tribe and the pueblo tribes of the Zuni, Laguna, Acoma, and Hopi. Not all products are made in USA, so read product descriptions to confirm country of origin. (Much, but not all, of the apparel is imported.)
- Stowe Craft--Remarkable Things (Stowe, VT): a wonderful collection of American-made handcrafts, including furniture, jewelry, pottery, and fine art. Almost all products carried are made by American artisans

- Schoolhouse Electric (Portland, OR): hand-crafted solid brass lighting fixtures and hand-blown glass shades, vintage style and made in USA. This is such a cool site, and they have much more than lighting. (Textiles and fans are imported, but most of the products they offer are made in America).
